We are currently looking for an automation engineer for our client!

At our client, you will play a central role in driving their automation projects – from idea to fully operational solution.

We are looking for an automation engineer on behalf of our client who wants to grow in a technology-driven team while contributing to the further development of the client's production.

Responsibilities

As an automation engineer, you will work broadly within automation and production technology. The role includes, among other things, that you:

• Create CAD drawings for grippers, layouts, etc. (Solid Edge)
• Program and simulate robots (RobotStudio)
• Program PLC and HMI (TIA Portal)
• Conduct risk analyses (CE marking, FMEA)
• Develop operating and process instructions
• Specify and order automation hardware (sensors, PLC, grippers, etc.)
• Lead projects during renovations and new production cells
• Support sales/quotes in customer projects involving automation

Qualifications

As an automation engineer, you should be able to:

• Monitor costs in projects
• NC & PLC programming (FANUC, Siemens)
• Machine interface (Vicivision, FANUC, Siemens)
• CE marking
• Troubleshoot machines and methodologies (PLC & NC)
• Machine purchasing and technical evaluations

Meritorious:

• Vision systems (IFM, Sensopart Visor)
• Electrical design
